Step 1: Log in to Akeneo, navigate to “Connect,” and click on “Connection Settings.”
Step 2: Click “Create” at the top right to add a new connection.
Step 3: Set up your credentials for the Malcom Connector:
- Insert a label for your connector, e.g. “malcomconnect”.
- Select “Data Destination” in the drop down for the Flow type.
- Click SAVE.
Notes:
- The Client ID, Secret, Username, and Password will be required in the next section to connect Malcom to your Akeneo.
- In the Permissions section, set the Role to “User.” It is recommended that you create a separate user in Akeneo for Malcom with full access to “Web API Permissions.”
- In the Permissions section, set the Group to “Manager.” Refer to this guide for more information about groups.
Leave this Connection Settings window open. You will need to copy and paste the information in the next section: Malcom Setup Wizard.
