Step 6.2 - Complete Setup - Initial Sync

In this section, Malcom will provide options for initiating the first synchronization between your Akeneo and Shopify Store.

You will be presented with two options: 

1. I have a new Shopify Store (without any products): Select this option if you would like Malcom to synchronize ALL the products from your Akeneo Channel to your Shopify Store. Note: Malcom will not verify product existence in your Shopify Store. Any existing products in your Shopify Store could be duplicated.  
2. I have an existing Shopify Store (with products): Select this option if you would like Malcom to perform the following: 
   1. Match products already existing in your Shopify Store.
   2. Synchronize these products from Akeneo to your Shopify Store.
   3. Synchronize products that exist in Akeneo but not in your current Shopify Store.   

Once you have selected, click “Complete” followed by “Close” to start using the Akeneo Connector by Malcom!
