Understanding Critical Event Notifications:
Malcom was designed with ease of use in mind. Its robust notifications engine allows you to troubleshoot any mapping or data-related issue. Malcom has 18 unique notifications, which will be displayed at the top of your screen when issues occur, and a copy of the notification is sent as an email to all registered recipients (Step 6: Notifications).
Clicking through the notification will open up a pop-up with details about the error and will provide instructions on what actions are required to resolve the issue. In order for Malcom to successfully sync again, you will need to either mark the critical event as “resolved” or ignore the action. Clicking the link provided in the message will bring you to the appropriate page in Shopify to help you resolve the issue. When you have resolved the issue, click “Mark Resolved”, close the pop-up, and click “Sync Now.”
