A locale was removed from Akeneo

Sample Notification: The Akeneo Channel used in Malcom mapping was removed from your Akeneo Instance.
Description: A locale used in the Malcom mapping (Step 2 - Channel Setup) was removed from the Akeneo Channel used for the Online Store.
How to Recover:

Scenario 1: A locale used in the Malcom channel mapping was accidentally removed in Akeneo.

In Akeneo: 

  1. Navigate to the Settings/Channels screen and select the channel that is currently mapped in Step 2 from the Malcom Setup.
  2. Select the above channel and make sure you add the missing Akeneo locales.
  3. Click on “Save.”

In Malcom: 

  1. Click on “Review Problem”.
  2. Select “Dismiss Notification & Close.”

Scenario 2: A locale used in the Malcom channel mapping was intentionally removed in Akeneo.

In Akeneo: 

  1. No changes 

In Malcom: 

  1. Click on “Review Problem”.
  2. Malcom will redirect you to Step 2 of the Setup. 
  3. Click on the icon to remove the locale mapping, which was intentionally removed in Akeneo.
  4. Then select “Save Changes & Close.”
Notes:
  1. Malcom requires at least one locale configured in your Akeneo instance.
  2. A new batch will be automatically submitted for synchronization upon completion.
