Scenario 1: Incorrect attribute mapped in Malcom for “URL Handle” or “Title” or “Price” or “SKU.”:
In Akeneo:
- No changes.
In Malcom:
- Click on the Malcom Setup tab.
- Navigate to Step 3 (Product Mapping) or Step 4 (Variant Mapping).
- Select the correct attribute from the list for either the “URL Handle,” “Title,” “Price,” or “SKU.”
- Then select “Save Changes & Close” on the Setup Modal.
- Click on the “Dismiss And Rerun Sync” button located at the top of your screen.
Scenario 2: Missing required value for “URL Handle” or “Title” or “Price” or “SKU” in Akeneo.
In Akeneo:
- Navigate to the Products screen and search for the product which failed synchronization in the last batch submitted to Malcom (refer to steps below).
- Select the product(s).
- Fill in the missing product attribute information which is currently mapped in Malcom Step 3 or Step 4.
- Click on “Save”.
In Malcom:
- Click on “View Batch Executions”.
- Malcom will redirect you to the failed job.
- Click on “Filter By Status”.
- Select “Failed” from the drop-down menu.
- Click on the failed job.
- Copy the identifier(s).
- Return to Akeneo to complete the missing information (see steps above).
- Click on the “Dismiss And Rerun Sync” button at the top of your screen.
Scenario 3: Missing options for product variant in Akeneo:
In Akeneo:
- Refer to this article.
In Malcom:
- Click on the “Dismiss And Rerun Sync” button at the top of your screen.
Scenario 4: The Synchronization failed due to an unknown error.
