| How to Recover: |
Confirm the Akeneo Connection Settings as prioritized below:
- Check if the “Flow type” is set to “Data Destination”.
- Check if the “Role” is set to “User”.
- Check if the “Group” is set to “Manager”.
- Click on the
icon to regenerate a “Secret” key.
- Copy and paste the new secret key into your Malcom Setup (Step 1).
- Click on the
icon to regenerate a “Password.”
- Copy the new password and paste it into your Malcom Setup (Step 1).
- Click on “Dismiss”.
A combination of one or more steps may be required from the above list.

| Note: |
- The Malcom User Interface (UI) will still be available for you to update any setup parameters or review your notifications, but it will NOT synchronize any data between Akeneo and Shopify until this authentication issue is resolved in Akeneo.
- Once the above issue is fixed, a new batch will be automatically submitted for synchronization.
