The configured Akeneo Channel was removed

Sample Notification: The Akeneo Channel used in Malcom mapping was removed from your Akeneo Instance. Please select the new channel to use.
Description: The Akeneo Channel used in Malcom mapping (Step 2. Channel Setup) was removed from your Akeneo Instance.
How to Recover:

Scenario 1: The Akeneo Channel used in the Malcom mapping for Products and Variants was accidentally deleted in Akeneo.

In Akeneo: 

  1. Navigate to the Settings\Channels screen.
  2. Add back the missing channel - click here for more information on how to create a channel.
  3. Click on Save.
  4. Navigate to the Products screen.
  5. For each Product, add or restore the appropriate channel parameters.   

In Malcom: 

  1. Click on “Review Problem”.
  2. Malcom will redirect you to Step 2 of the Setup. 
  3. Select the new Channel you have created in Akeneo from the “Akeneo Channel” drop-down list.
  4. Click on “Save Changes & Close.”

Scenario 2: The Akeneo Channel used in the Malcom mapping for Products and Variants was intentionally deleted in Akeneo.

In Akeneo: 

  1. No changes 

In Malcom: 

  1. Click on “Review Problem”.
  2. Malcom will redirect you to Step 2 of the Setup. 
  3. Select the Channel you would like Malcom to use as the source Channel in Akeneo from the “Akeneo Channel” drop-down list.
  4. Click on “Save Changes & Close.”

In order to apply any new mapping updates to future synchronization jobs, click on the “Sync All” button.
Note:

A new batch will be automatically submitted for synchronization.
